Neither one of them wanted to open bj to each other, but life brought them together to do just that. I also appreciated the way the author depicted the development of the relationship between both main characters–strangers at the start of the novel, brought together by harrowing and life-threatening events.

They both have secrets that they’re unwilling to tell and they’re f;awed, like real people. The real story is about Aerin and Dane.
