When we meet Polza Mancini, a very large man, he is being held by the police. Polza finds himself trapped in more and more of those. On this evidence I can only hope to see the rest, for it’s really quite intriguing — easy to follow yet mystical, mature yet not heavy, and really quite different from anything else out there. Larcenet end the book even stronger than he started it. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Knowing his mental history, they had to tap dance around some things to keep him talking. He was a married man who gave it all up o ‘Blast 1. The art and storytelling approach take a radical left turn in Blast. He breaks with his previous life of banality and doles through the countryside, looking for ways to experience the Blast again.
Efa A few questions for the Eisner-nominated artist behind the Alter Ego Larcenet did it but he pulled it off and I can’t recommend it strong enough.
